Did you ever said sth you dont mean to hurt someone?

have you ever said sth because you were angry with that person - an ex for example- and you wanted to hurt them. for example acted rudely to them or behave meanly. said that you think they are stupid or you dont love them anymore???? but you actually lied although you like them or find them beautiful to make them hurt??? do boys do it a lot?
