Ex is using pive aggressive communication to contact me?

We've never just been friends. Known each other forever, havn't seen each other in two years but have mutual friends.... ( we actually saw each other for the first time a couple weeks ago) Now he's playing one of those Facebook games with me and leaving me wall messages, IMing me.. etc He just has not called or texted me. Do you think he' s interested or just being friendly. He's the one that broke up wih me without a clear reason except I was going to be leaving for a few months. Oh and he's also online dating??!!! I don't know what to think! HELP
