Highlights with henna.....?

While some believe that henna is a safer way to color hair...the results is what needs to be yzed. If you have dark (almost black hair) henna will do nothing but add a reddish tone to it. You may not even be able to see it. The next item to consider is that henna is a vegetable dye. What does that equate to in the salon world? ITS NOT GOING TO COME BACK OUT! If you opt not to tell the hairstylists that you have henna on your hair and they put bleach or color over it...it could have no effect on it or just damage your hair completely. While your mom may think that henna is safe, it is the most permanent of the 5 different types of haircolor. Make the decision based on how long you want to deal with the results.
