Do women have more resentment for the opposite than men?

Yes they do. If you observe many women, you will see that they approach a man bad until he proves otherwise (think: guilty until proven innocent). You even hear this in such things as how a man is required to make a woman comfortable before he can move forward in the relationship. Men on the other hand tend to focus on women's positives, and look past her flaws until it is too daunting a task.
