What is a good fiction book?

I've run out of books to read so I figured I'd come here and see what everyone has something to say. Some of the books I've read before and I like were the Eragon series, the Percy Jackson series, Warriors Heir, and the Ranger's Apprentice. Please, I will say in advance, no Twilight or anything like it. Thanks.
