What to look out for in Cologne, Germany?
Been ALL over Germany. The Germans can be very friendly people, and they can be very closed off people. In Koln, people kind've just go with the flow. As with touring anywhere in Europe, try not to look like a Tourist. This means no Camera around your neck, no visable Pport holder, and probably most importantly no non-native shoes. Try getting an expandable SD card and using your Phone for Pix instead of flaunting a Camera. Chucks are actually quite typical of Germans and would work well. As for the city itself, there is shopping galore so bring plenty of cash but dont keep it all ina wallet, I put half in my sock. The Church is magnificent, make sure to take an extra few Euro's to donate to go all the way to the top. There are tons of bars and clubs which you should definitely check out, but try to dress right for the clubs and take some sort of I.D. but NEVER your Pport. Other than that have a good time. And don't be fool, wrap your tool :) Viel Spas!
